I am a licensed psychotherapist with a concentration in trauma. I work with issues unique to people suffering the effects of complex trauma, complex childhood trauma and single incident trauma. As I have worked extensively with trauma, I have come to understand complications of trauma often show up in our lives as anxiety, depression, and relational problems.

I work individually with clients within their unique family systems. I include and invite the complexity and dignity of unconventional relationship structures and affirm the challenges and joys they provide. I am a LGBTQ informed therapist providing individual therapy to people in monogamous and polyamorous relationships.

As human beings we all have a tendency toward health and an innate capacity to heal. Therapy is one way to actively engage this innate ability. Often busy lives, life experience and our misinterpretations get in the way and we are unable to access this natural tendency. Through the deconstruction of the problem I will guide you through the process of rediscovering this place of balance and health.

I am a certified EMDR therapist. I have advanced training in working with dissociation and early trauma experience. I have a practical approach utilizing the best of Western psychology in combination with Eastern influences. I feel strongly that therapy should provide an engaged process involving resource development, compassionate support, and a fair amount of respectful humor. I invite people I work with to discover working with problems is an admittance of health.  My specific areas of attention have included, but are not limited to trauma, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, personality development, monogamous relationship issues, polyamorous relationship issues, gender/ identity issues and addiction.

I am passionate about my work and about serving my community. I hold an intention to provide a safe secure place for people of all walks of life to work towards health and wellness.
